Let us Remember Alzheimer's Walk
June 16, 2012, let us remember the elderly in our community, how important they are in shaping who we all are today and acknowledge those who may not have a strong memory.
Let Us Remember is the first annual walk to support Alzheimer's Disease patients at Miller's Place in Modesto California. All proceeds from the walk will remain local to aid the Alzheimer's patients in Stanislaus County. More info at http://www.letusrememberwalk.com/
Miller's Place adult day care program gets reprieve
Miller's Place, which has been providing day care to disabled and medically fragile adults since 1999, will not close its doors.

Health Education Scholarships
DMC Foundation provides scholarships annually for those pursuing careers in nursing and other health related fields. Applicants range from high school seniors to graduate students and nurses who are continuing their education. There are over two dozen scholarships donated every year by businesses throughout the community. DMC Foundation begins accepting applications in early February and scholarships are awarded at the end of June.
There is only one application to complete to be considered for any of the scholarships being offered. The scholarship committee will determine the scholarship(s) for which you are eligible for based on academic achievement, educational interest, and community involvement.
