M.O.M.

The
Medical Outreach Mobile (M.O.M.) mission is to provide
health care and education for pregnant women in the
Stanislaus County area, to increase the awareness and importance of prenatal care,
to reduce infant mortality and low birth weight babies, and
to improve the total health picture of women and their
families.
M.O.M.
fills an ever-increasing gap in essential health care
services for those who would otherwise delay medical care
until the problem becomes an emergency. This program
provides prenatal and other health care services to many
families in under-served areas of Stanislaus County, where
access to traditional care is limited. Most of our stops
are near schools and large apartment complexes to make it
convenient for families who find it difficult to travel
across town.
Children
have special health care needs when they are sick or
healthy. You can keep children healthy by regular checkups
with a physician and keeping their vaccinations current.
The medical staff of the MOMobile is keenly aware of the
health care issues that affect women. Our staff provides
exceptional care to women of all ages.
Golden
Valley accepts Medi-Cal, Medicare, Healthy Families and most
private health insurance. If you are uninsured and your
income is low, you may qualify for reduced fees under one of
our sliding fee discount plans.
The
MOMobile is staffed with physicians, nurses and other
medical professionals from Golden Valley Health Centers, who
are pleased to be able to extend their services through this
mobile health center. Services available at MOMobile
